I love visiting my parents at their home in Eastbourne and we often go for drives in the countryside nearby. The South Downs are very beautiful, especially now in Spring. This painting is of the area around Firle Beacon which is the big hill you can see here in the background. I enjoyed doing this painting and thought I captured quite well the long grass and flowers in the foreground.
